Seibertron SPS-5 Half-Finger Touchscreen Motorcycle & MTB Gloves

I have no doubt these will greatly reduce injury to my hands in a crash. Love the use of carbon fiber on the high impact and skid areas. There is a good bit of padding behind those areas also.There is a thin mesh up each side and between the fingers, and holes in the goat skin on the back of the gloves, great ventilation.The touch screen index fingers work easily with my phone, hopefully it will keep working after many hours of riding ATVs and bikes.I will UPDATE this review if anything changes, good or bad! These gloves are accurately described. I have never been able to so easily use a touch screen with a pair of touch screen gloves before. I wish the touch screen fiber was included in the thumbs too, but its totally doable with just the index fingers. Perhaps one reason the touch screen capability worked so well is because the finger tip portion of the gloves sits very snug on my hands. I imagine the gloves will wear in over time, but so far the tightness of the fingertips has been slightly uncomfortable on long rides. I notice this most while gripping my handlebars. When doing so, my hands will press forward into the gloves more which is why I think this happens. Something to keep in mind if youre going to commit to a size. They may feel great to just wear, but wearing them while riding may feel a little different for size. Perhaps going a size up would neutralize this issue. I usually fit best in size small gloves, which is what I ordered, but I think medium would probably be better for me. My palm circumference is about 8.5 inches which technically puts me into their size large, but I like a snug glove. My palm is about 3.75 inches wide which on a dollar bill extends to the of in United States of America. Not the same as circumference but may be useful.They look great and I like the padded areas for protection. The carbon knuckles are quite strong. The gloves cuff into the wrists a bit, so youll probably notice that especially if you wear a watch. I have to loosen my watch a bit to accommodate the gloves. There is a carbon enhanced portion near the bottom of the palm below the pinky finger that makes gripping an ergonomic handlebar grip a bit of a compromise. A normal cylindrical grip is less noticeable. But you may notice the protruding carbon padding while holding your handlebars.

The sizing seems a tad small. I usually wear a medium glove, these are large and fit perfect. The touch finger works on my iPhone flawlessly. There is plenty of added protection on these gloves. The knuckle have hard plastic caps. The top of the fingers have rubber caps and the thumb has added padding.

These protective gloves fit well, have heavy duty carbon style armor, and actually work quite well with touch screens. All really good. They are generally comfortable and feel good but not amazing over a long trip. At over $40, these are at the top of the MTB glove price range. These will definitely stay in my rotation and, while I like touch screen optimization here, comfort and protection is what I want out of my MTB gloves. These definitely protect.

Pleasantly surprised on initial fit and comfort the gloves have a slight preform grip design to fit well right out of the package, lessoning break-in time needed, and should aid in reducing grip fatigue on long drives.

High quality materials, well thought out design elements as if designed by an experienced rider. We are planning a long Side by Side & Quad weekend ride, so Ill update review in the future, if we experience any issues.
